This is the loveliest place we have ever stayed, the view is phenomenal, accommodation great & the beautiful pots of flowers have made this week memorable. It was a real pleasure to meet you both. Thanks for everything.

Thank you so much for our stay in a lovely cosy cottage. Stove was amazing in the chilly weather.

We’ve had a lovely time. Blessed with perfect weather, but that was a little extra! The accommodation is first class and the hospitality likewise. Hope to be back some day.

Osorio-Smith Family, London & Colombia,  The Haybarn,   18 -23 April 2019

Thank you for a lovely stay. We plan to return for a long weekend and more walking, and congratulations on becoming grandparents again.

4 boys, 1 Granny, 2 parents. Straw poll of pros. and cons. elicited the following:

Pros. 1 Biomass stove fantastic, exciting.

          2. The views

          3. The walks into the valley and onto the top of the hill – gorgeous countryside.

          4. The mattresses – a good combination of soft and firm.

          5. Cycling along the old railway track to the pub.

          6. Two nice pubs

Cons. 1. Duvets too warm (but the weather was just on the turn from cold to warm}

           2. The hob ..aagh.. we never really mastered it.

Thank you for your lovely comments – we always like to receive feedback and we we have made the following changes: (1) lighter duvets and flat sheets are available on request and (2) the hob, which is ceramic with touch controls, now has a simplified instruction sheet in one of the kitchen drawers.

Best wishes, Liz and Chris
