Cosy and romantic farm cottage

Facing south with amazing views of the Manifold Valley, the Old Byre is a farm cottage ideal for a couple wanting
comfort, peace and quiet. It’s been converted to the highest standards from a barn dating back to the
18th century and combines every modern comfort with beamed ceilings and many original features.
The Old Byre is surely one of the cosiest and most romantic farm cottages in the Peak District.

A farm cottage with "views to die for"

Downstairs there is an open-plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen with terracotta floors and attractive rugs. The farm cottage is equipped with an auto washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, fridge and full range of cooking and dining ware. A flight of open tread stairs leads to a galleried landing off of which is a lovely double bedroom with "views to die for" (the opinion of one of our visitors). Also leading from the landing is a bathroom with bath/overbath shower, WC and towel rail.

Immediately outside this delightful farm cottage is a secluded courtyard with unrestricted views of the valley.
