The Haybarn is part of a barn conversion, the original building dating back to the 18th or early 19thC. The cottage has a lounge and separate dining-room/kitchen on the ground floor with stairs to a landing. The landing leads to a master bedroom and bathroom/w c. We are in a remote location and bus services are very limited, the nearest bus stop is over a mile away.
The nearest train station is in Buxton 11miles away. Accessible taxis would have to be booked in advance.
We can arrange for shopping to be delivered, please advise us of your requirements.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

Cars can be unloaded approximately 1m from the front door.
Parking is at the rear of the building 5m from the entrance.
The entrance is from stone flags off a gravel driveway.

The entrance has 1 step – 12cm high and the doorway width is 73cm with a 5cm threshold. The entrance leads into the kitchen/dining room.
Kitchen/Dining Room (5m x 7m)

The floor is of terracotta tiles with mats in the doorway.
Dining area has a circular pine table 110cm diameter and 79cm high with 4 padded pine chairs (no arms). There is also a pine stool with a circular top 30cm diameter x 53cm high.
Kitchen worktop and sink are 91cm high with cupboards and drawers underneath.
The cooker hob is 91cm high and the oven door is side hung (height of lowest shelf is 15cm and can be accessed from the front). The kitchen is evenly lit with spotlights above work surfaces providing good contrast between floor, cupboards and other surfaces.
The kitchen has a separate fridge/freezer (highest shelf 106cm, lowest shelf 28cm).
A built-in dishwasher has a pull out loading tray which is 17cm high and can be accessed from the side.
The kitchen has a washer/dryer (front loading, centre of door 50cm from floor)
The downstairs area is very spacious with at least 1.8m between all furniture and worktops.

Door between kitchen and lounge is 80cm wide.
